A unique experience for kids and adults to discover high-altitude scientific research!
During Mosso Day, we will visit the Angelo Mosso Scientific Institute, guided by Professors from the University of Turin – Michele Freppaz, Luigi Perotti and Pier Giorgio Montarolo – who will lead interactive workshops on mountain medicine, glaciers, snow and soil. Become a scientist for a day!
PROGRAM
Meeting point in Alagna Monterosa Ski – 9:00 a.m. at the ticket office
Ascent to Passo dei Salati with a guided visit
Educational workshops for children and science outreach activities
Return expected to Passo dei Salati around 12:00 p.m.
Last cable car to return to Alagna in the morning: 12:45 p.m.
First afternoon descent: 2:15 p.m.
RECOMMENDED CLOTHING
Trekking shoes and a light rain jacket (k-way).
