In winter the paved road that reaches Mera is not entirely passable due to the snow. But it is still possible to drive along it to Piazzale del Trogo, where you will find a large paid car park. It is about 15 minutes from Scopello, and from here skiers can easily access the slopes using the Capricorno chairlift. The Capricorno chairlift allows skiers who decide to use the Trogo to leave their car in the parking lot and enter the slope directly!
The connection between the Trogo car park and the slope takes place via a stretch of snowy road which can only be traveled on with skis on. This road connects the Trogo and Capricorno slopes, and leads you to the Capricorno ticket office where you can buy your ski pass.
Attention: to access the slopes from the Trogo, it is necessary to already have all the necessary ski equipment, as the Capricorno chairlift can only be reached with skis on and not by pedestrians.
