Capanna Margherita

Do you want to reach Monte Rosa, the largest massif in the Alps? You can climb your first 4000 m and see the sunrise from the Capanna Margherita refuge, the highest in Europe.

Then don't miss the opportunity to practice mountaineering in Gressoney, a tradition that has accompanied the Walser people since immemorial. Thanks to Indren Resort, a veritable gateway to the glacier of the same name, it offers a number of climbing routes that vary in difficulty and duration. The Monte Rosa glacier is characterized by several peaks with altitudes above four thousand meters and different stage points where you can rest and regroup before reaching your destination. Mountaineering on the Monte Rosa exerts an irresistible fascination on every mountaineering lover, whether beginner or expert, but it is an activity that requires proper preparation and equipment. That is why we recommend you rely on our mountain guides to safely enjoy your high mountain experience.
