It was the mid-eighties when the Guide Society of Ayas decided to build a shelter on the ridge called Lambronecca, but it was necessary to wait until September 1991 for its inauguration.
The refuge is a modern and functional structure that can accommodate up to 80 people and that offers refreshment even in the closing periods thanks to a winter room.
Starting point to reach some of the most famous 4,000 of the area: the Breithorn West, the Roccia Nera, the Polluce and the Castore.
