Its magic is hidden, but it's also surprisingly close!
Less than 2 hours by car from the major centers of Northern Italy: 140 km from Milan, 150 km from Turin, 220 km from Genoa.
In the winter, when the ski season opens, and in the summer, Mera can be accessed with the chairlift that leaves from the municipality of Scopello.
In winter, the paved road that reaches Mera is not entirely passable, but it is possible to travel along it by car up to the square of the Trogo, where there is a large parking lot. It is about 15 minutes from Scopello, and from here skiers can easily use the first ski lift, the Capricorno chairlift.
In summer, on the other hand, the paved road is open, and both the Piazzale del Trogo and Alpe di Mera can be reached by car.
