You're now on the glacier and you must behave accordingly: first of all your clothing has to be adequate and then you must be really careful. From here, accompanied by the professional Alpine Guides, you can reach the Monte Rosa peaks.

Ascents to the Monte Rosa

From the arrival of the Funifor on Indren Glacier it is possible to start different ascents to the Glacier. The Huts Città di Mantova and Capanna Gnifetti are the ideal place to spend the night in order to get used to the altitude for continuing the day after towards the chosen peak: Piramide Vincent (4.215 m.), Balmenhorn Cristo delle Vette (4.167 m.), West Lyskamm (4.527 m.) and the crossing of the Lyskamm, Punta Dufour (4.634 m.), Corno Nero (4.322 m.), Ludwigshöhe (4.342 m.), Punta Parrot (4.436 m.), Zumstein (4.563 m.), Nordend (4.609 m.) or Punta Gnifetti that, at an altitude of 4.554 m., hosts the European highest Hut: Capanna Margherita.
