The Harry Potter fixed rope route is specially designed to introduce young children to this type of experience.
Located in Gressoney La Trinitè near the departure point of the Punta Jolanda chairlift, it is reached via the wooden bridge at the bottom of the large car park that crosses the Lys torrent.
The route begins with a leaning step to the right, then faces a short horizontal traverse up a short rocky prominence, then reaches a short two-rope suspension bridge that leads to a short vertical wall with metal brackets, at which point the climb ends and takes an average of about 10 minutes.
For the descent, you have two options: using special equipment (Petzl Tandem Speed or CT Duetto) to use the steel cable to make a tyrolenne up to the base of the fixed rope route, or you can choose to take the short path, paying attention to the last equipped section.
