Borderline Arte Festival is a cultural initiative that promotes contemporary artistic activities through forms of participation, collaboration and contamination between different realities.
The Festival organized by the Borderline cultural association takes place on the first weekend of September involving the entire city of Varallo, in Valsesia, known for its rich historical and artistic tradition, the UNESCO site of the Sacro Monte and the alpine natural beauties in which fits.
The entire project is imagined as a skein that unwinds through the symbolic places of the area, interweaving past and present in a dialogue that dilates the temporal boundaries, creating a real widespread museum in which visitors can move, involved in installations, exhibitions, performances.
