Challand Art is an eco trail that combines art and nature. It is located in the woods of Challand Saint Victor close to the nature reserve of Lake Villa and extends along the path that connects the lake to the Colle d'Arlaz.
Challand Art is the first and only project of the Aosta Valley and the north west of Italy of Land Art, an artistic current that operates on the natural landscape by manipulating and transforming it in various ways.
Along the way they meet 14 unique works of art made by the artists of the association Patta Libra with natural materials such as earth, leaves, wood, stone, iron.
Challand Art was born as an idea in 2015, but began to be created in September 2016, thanks to the interest and patronage of the Municipality of Challand Saint Victor for the realization of the project conceived and proposed by Marco Della Valle.
The project to create Challand Art will last three years and will be inaugurated in the spring of 2019.
