Arcesaz is a little-known town in the middle Val d'Ayas which is 2.37 km south from the capital of the municipality of Brusson and can be reached by the road from Verrès.
The village is located at 1146 meters above sea level and has beautiful examples of historic houses typical of mountain areas. Going up towards Arcesaz you can admire the most historic area of the village to the left of the road, while the chapel is on the right bank of the Evançon.
Continuing along the road stands the hotel restaurant La Croce Bianca. The town is connected with Graines thanks to an ancient mule track that, going up from the southern part of Arcesaz, continues connecting to the paved road above. The village is surrounded to the west and north by walls and rocky peaks while the main agglomeration of houses boasts large meadows. In the winter season these meadows become cross-country trails extending for 7.5 km, with varying difficulties suitable for everyone.
As for the right side of the road, families with children can enjoy a modern playground with football pitch.
