Horse riding is a special sport and at the Green Ranch Equitation you have the opportunity to experience both western riding and the more classic English riding. It is located in the beautiful Val d'Ayas, at Barmasc in Antagnod.

The horses are looked after with extreme care and love, and are selected according to breed and character. They are perfect for giving beginners, experts and children a top experience.

You can enjoy a variety of activities, including ½-hour or 1-hour field lessons with horses and ponies, walks of one or more hours in the beautiful forests of the Aosta Valley, and half-day or full-day treks to enjoy breathtaking mountain views.

The treks have different routes and can be of three levels: basic panoramic with a snack in a mountain pasture (duration 3 hours), for experts with technical passages, trotting and galloping (duration 3 hours) and for qualified riders (duration 2 days with overnight stay in a refuge).

For children, the Green Ranch A.S.D. organises in July "The Night of the Indians", a magical evening to learn the stories of the ancient West around the fire and be in close contact with these splendid animals. A mattress and a sleeping bag are required to experience the thrill of sleeping in a tent, just like real little Indians.

But the novelties don't end there! Also this year, from 12/06/2023 to 28/07/2023, there will be a summer camp, running from Monday to Friday for children aged 5 to 13.

Here they will have lots of great experiences such as pony games, educational games, and looking after farm animals. Thanks to qualified instructors, they will also have lessons in the field and fun horse riding.
