Very important testimony of the strong roots of the traditions is the feast of Saint John, Patron Saint of the village: the festivities begin on the evening of June 23 when in all the villages of the Municipality are lit the traditional fires of Sankt Johanz and the inhabitants toast in honor of the Saint. On June 24th the Holy Mass is celebrated, followed by the procession along the streets of the village with the women parading wearing the typical Walser costume.
