The market Lo Tsaven, which means “basket” in the Aosta Valley dialect, was created in 2002 as a market showcasing the best of locally-grown and sourced agricultural products, ranging from vegetables to fruit, cow and goat’s dairy products, like the typical Fontina DOP cheese, the main product defining our region.
The market will also offer a chance to taste farm-to-table products, whose production has been passed down from one generation to the next, like fruit vinegar, or the rediscovery of ancient traditions like walnut oil.
Especially for this occasion, a chef from the Aosta Valley Chefs’Union will put on a riveting showcooking, where he will cook two meals using products of Campagna Amica, offering some tastings to the people.
