Easy-access hut for walks and hikes in the heart of the Aosta Valley. Located along the Alta Via della Valle d'Aosta number 1, thanks to its easy accessibility the Refuge is suitable for all levels of hikers, from the first steps in the mountains to the most experienced mountaineers. The hut is situated at 2600 metres in the grassy basin of the upper Alpe Tournalin. The Grand Tournalin hut is a three-storey building made of copper and stone. Built in 1994 by the Becquet family, the hut has 45 beds ready to accommodate hikers of all levels in cosy, wood-furnished rooms with 4 to 8 beds.
In addition, the hut can be reached by MTB or E-Bike thanks to the cross-country road that runs through the Nana valley. The Grand Tournalin Refuge offers an excellent restaurant/bar service with traditional Valdostan dishes prepared with care on the wood-burning stove.
