This is a classic snowshoeing route along well signposted tracks in the Mont Avic Park. It is not unusual to come across a white partridge taking off in the midst of a cloud of snow, seeing a golden eagle in flight appearing as a black dot on the blue sky or being surprised by chamois babies at play sliding down the slopes in perfect free ride style. The tracks wind through enchanting landscapes: snow covered woods, gentle slopes, frozen lakes. And, suddenly you are rewarded with breathtaking views of the Monterosa Massif and the Matterhorn.
