From the Wold ski stations (1.250 m) you go, on foot, up to the Acqua Bianca (1,495 metres) waterfall. Here starts the old mule track which takes you to the Turlo Pass which connects Valsesia and Val Quarazza. Snowshoes are recommended. At the first junction, take the right fork. Arriving at the Pastore Mountain Refuge (1,575 metres) you can enjoy the impressive and majestic view of the southern face of the Monte Rosa.
