The La Manda choir was born in January 2006 by the will of a small group of friends who are passionate about singing under the direction of Maestro Antonio Forlin. The La Manda choir is based in Hône and takes its name from the "La Manda" mountain pasture, the Pontboset mountain which frames the town that hosts it. In May 2007 it was established as an association and endowed itself with a statute; in June 2007 he enrolled in the A.R.CO.VA. (Regional Association of Aosta Valley Choirs).
Since 2009 the direction has been entrusted to the young Maestro Nicola Forlin, who has renewed the group and has included new songs from all over the world in the choir's repertoire.
