The summer season has ended, but you can still reach Alpe di Mera by car!As September advances, Alpe di Mera transforms into a landscape painted in shades of gold and copper: the light grows warmer, the paths crunch under your footsteps and the fresh air invites you to slow walks, immersed in a unique natural setting.Even in autumn, the mountain remains accessible, welcoming and always ready to surprise you.

Why visit Alpe di Mera in autumn?

This is the perfect season for those seeking intimacy and silence: every step brings the feeling of a genuine connection with nature. The woods glow with colors, the landscape turns into a natural photo set, and the mountain huts reopen their doors with a calmer rhythm, offering panoramic tables and hearty dishes that warm the soul. Children, too, find space to run free and play in the outdoor playgrounds, breathing in the mountain’s authenticity.

Practical tips

To make the most of your autumn experience in Mera, just a few small details matter. Booking your lunch or snack at the huts is always recommended, as seats are limited and in high demand. It is important to correctly display the parking receipt or pass to avoid fines, and to remember that trails covered in leaves or slightly damp require suitable footwear. Autumn also calls for layered clothing and a hot drink in a thermos, so you can fully enjoy the beauty of the season and the pleasure of a slow walk among the mountain’s golden colors.
