On 15 August, the Sant'Anna Plain will host the Crafts and Local Products Market, a summer event inviting visitors to spend Ferragosto in the mountains, surrounded by nature, local traditions and regional flavours.
The event takes place in the beautiful setting of the Sant'Anna Plain, where the fresh mountain air and breathtaking scenery make strolling among the market stalls an even more enjoyable experience.
Visitors will discover a selection of handcrafted items, including hand embroidery, fabric, felt and crochet creations, knitted accessories, ceramics, glass lamps and jewellery made using a variety of materials and techniques, showcasing the creativity and craftsmanship of the local area.
The market will also feature a selection of local food specialities. Visitors will find honey producers and other beekeeping products, the Il Riccio di Lillianes Cooperative, offering its chestnut specialities, including flours and spreads, also available in chocolate and hazelnut varieties, and Bontà di Montiglié, presenting a selection of traditional products from the Canavese area.
The Crafts and local products market is a great opportunity to spend Ferragosto in the mountains, reaching the Sant'Anna Plain with the Monterosa Ski lifts and enjoying a few hours discovering the flavours, craftsmanship and traditions of the local area.
