The FWT Challenger Returns to Monterosa in 2026
Freeride is gearing up for another defining season, and Monterosa Freeride Paradise is once again one of the key stages. The 2026 FWT Challenger by Orage – Region 1 calendar is now public, with our stop scheduled one day from March 26 to 29, 2026.
This tour is the final gateway to the Freeride World Tour 2027. Every run matters. Every decision counts. The Challenger season will unfold across Austria, Switzerland, Italy, and France, each destination offering its own personality, snowpack and pressure.
The athlete lineup reflects a vibrant mix of generations. Former FWT champions like Maxime Chabloz and Elisabeth Gerritzen are returning to reclaim their place, while a new wave of riders is stepping up, hungry to prove they belong — among them, the young Noah Peizerat, one of the most exciting names to watch. The result is a field driven by ambition, resilience, and the pure love of the mountains.
Monterosa is not just a venue — it’s an identity. A place where terrain, culture and community blend into something raw and real. The exact competition venue will be confirmed soon, but it will unfold within the Monterosa Freeride Paradise, a terrain that demands confidence, strategy and flow.
Stay tuned on the official FWT channels, and keep close to ours, where the heartbeat of Monterosa is told from inside.
March 2026 is on the horizon. The mountain is calling.
